3) Why does Google change its Algorithm??
# Google "ALGORITHM" :
It is basically a set of rules / regulation or some parameter maintained / followed by Google Search Engine Crawler / Bot to evaluate each website, web content, Blog etc....
# How does it work?
The Search Engine Crawler is tunes and programmed in such a format that it can read / evaluating and take snap shot of your website content and store it in its data base, the process is generally known as Caching. This process of Caching gets Google or any search Engine to know how much your web content is inline to its set parameter or evaluating process.
According to the score sheet marking Google places or provides Page Ranking from the scale of 1-10. The higher the Ranking the better it is for your website. Higher ranking also means the the website is well accepted and follows all rules of Google SERP evaluation process.
Why does Google change its Algorithm??
Google periodically changes Algorithms, so as to filter outdated, spam, and irrelevant data from its data base. It tunes the data capture system and evaluates accordingly. Google try's to update itself and makes sure its tunes the "TRENDY WAY".
Google is the big daddy and it does not follow any trend it makes them so that others can follow. This unique ability makes Google truly the best and way beyond others.
